We were out practicing for Ice Racing and Missy got a taste of the Turbo Power driving A Can Am. Og Cat is running good too...
Missy has always had a heart for the under dog & loves to race anything she can so of course she is going to race the OG Wildcat in the Weekend Warrior Class at the Iceman 500 this February in Wisconsin. No better place to practice for the race on Balsam Lake than Houghton Lake! A lot of Friends are also heading up to the race so they joined for a day of fun testing and tuning their SXS and of course a little SXS Ice racing! We even had a fair car to race the OG cat with an OG Can Am Maverick. Watch the video to see who wins and if its ready for the big race yet! .
Check out this SXS budget build where we bring a 2013 Arctic Cat Wildcat HO with over 9000 back to life and get it ready for Ice racing.
This race we have gone to just to watch a couple times, it is an endurance style 7mile course with varying tough terrain. The race is 1.5 hours long and the only way to win is to get the most laps in. The track included tight trails, a short course track & even a rock crawl obstacle. The day started out with qualifying. You made two laps around the short course track to get your best time. You had the option to pay $10 and buy in for a better time. Chris did great qualifying 4th and getting to start the race in the front row! With as dusty as this track was that was SUPER important.
Missy took off with her girlfriends and her new JK Wrangler to explore Holly Oaks ORV Park at Detroit 4Fest 2020. She was able to join the Wranglher all girls convoy and explore the park before it even opened. Now Missy rips in the SXS all the time but she found her manual jeep a little more intimidating at first, enjoy the laughs. We cannot wait to get back there in the SXS and really do some XX-ploring of the new off road park! Get more info on Holly Oaks ORV Park Online4
A friend came to Braaaap the St. Helen Trails with us in his Polaris RZR Pro XP along with another couple friends in their YXZs. We hit the Saint Helen Sand Hill first and that's where the Mott Motorsports Built Boosted YXZ got to show off. This thing is a beast but a rough ride in the trails the way his suspension is set up. We took them next to our favorite little trail jump spot to take a couple passes! Corey in his RZR really sent it on this jump. The RZR definitely out jumped the Supercharged wildcat XX.
Chris raced the supercharged Wildcat XX in the RBOR Race Series SXS Endurance Race At Twisted Trails Off Road Park in Copemish Michigan. The Race was 1.5hrs long and the way you win is to get the most laps. This was a 7 mile course with varying terrain, a rock course, a short course and a lot of dusty tight trails.
There were 26 SXS in the race and I'd Brap That qualified 4th with a time of 54.26. Watch for our video showing more of the race but enjoy this ride along with Chris on his race...
Back in July when it was still hot out we were still busy working on the Wildcat XX Supercharger build so we were playing in the OG Wildcat X when we needed to braaaap! This was a fun day trail riding Saint Helen Michigan with our friend in his Honda Talon R! Good thing he came along too because we needed his recovery skills when we got into a deep water hole on the trail and got our SXS stuck. You wont believe the water holes we hit after the first one!!! Now it's so cold here in Michigan I do not want to be in any water holes.
Missy had never been to Silver Lake Sand Dunes & Chris hadn't been since a kid so they decided to celebrate the new supercharger addition with a road trip! A friend lent them a sweet set of paddles so with the added power it was a good time! The #TrottleTherapy WildcatXX was able to pull off its first wheelie running on just 3psi.
We were really disappointed that due to the COVID-19 we were forced to cancel the 2020 St. Helen ORV Jam Event. This would have been the 5th year that we, I'd Brap That & Friends, have been organizing and hosting this event and we had been looking forward to something special NOT a cancellation. We finally decided at the last minute, and after many supporters reaching out, that we had to do something. This event was SO MUCH MORE than the races that got cancelled. It's a coming together, a tradition, a gathering that shows no matter what we ride we are all like minded in the fact that we love to bee off road. Especially at Exit 222!
We were still finishing up the Wildcat XX rebuild so we were not quite ready to ready to race but we went to watch Kyle & Jason, the Mi.Dunerunners, and Zack & Nick, Michigan Dirt, participate in this SXS endurance race.
This is not normally where you will find us playing but in this 2013 wildcat 1000HO we were willing to give it a try, these sxs are great climbers. Chris tries to scare Missy and takes the biggest climb course right out of the gate. Watch to see if they make it...
